Funding

From September 2024, 15 hours of government funded childcare will be extended to all children from the age of 9 months. From September 2025, working parents of children under the age of five will be entitled to 30 hours of government funded childcare per week. Applications for these offers will be available in the coming months.

At Little Oaks, fully funded placements are available based on capacity. We offer both term-time only (38 weeks) and all-year-round (52 weeks) places to suit your family's needs.

While government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), we also offer stretched funding across the full 52 weeks that we’re open:

• 15 hours per week becomes approximately 11 hours 15 minutes per week stretched over 52 weeks
• 30 hours per week becomes approximately 22 hours 30 minutes per week stretched over 52 weeks
